The Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy of Santa Catarina (CREA-SC) was established in 1965 as part of the CONFEA/CREA system, with the mission of regulating, supervising, and guiding the practice of engineering, agronomy, and related professions in the state.​ Currently, CREA-SC is responsible for overseeing professional practice, registering professionals and companies, and promoting sound technical and ethical practices. In addition, the council develops educational initiatives, events, and professional development programs, encouraging innovation and continuous qualification.
Embraed Empreendimentos was founded in 1984 in Balneário Camboriú. Over the decades, the company has become one of the most recognized developers in southern Brazil, especially in the luxury segment. Its buildings, often located along the waterfront and in prime areas of the city, are known for their sophisticated architecture and high-quality finishes. Embraed has consolidated its reputation by combining tradition, innovation, and attention to detail, becoming a reference in the real estate market and one of the symbols of the region’s urban development.
Solo Sondagem, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Balneário Camboriú, specializes in geotechnical drilling and investigations, with more than 16,000 campaigns completed across Brazil. Over 20 years ago, the company pioneered the widespread use of the Cone Penetration Test (CPT) in Santa Catarina.
Solugeot is a geotechnical testing company based in Itajaí, Santa Catarina, founded in 2015. It provides high-quality services including instrumented static load tests, dynamic load testing (PDA), and pile integrity testing (PIT). The company also executes static load tests using reaction systems with helical steel piles, which improves execution efficiency and significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to conventional reaction systems.
União Fundações is a foundation contractor with a primary focus on continuous flight auger (CFA) piles. Based in Santa Catarina and active for over a decade, the company has advanced construction techniques, opening the CFA market to drilling in dense soils (SPT-refusal conditions) and fractured rock. It operates two of the largest CFA rigs in Brazil.
Based in Balneário Camboriú, BornSales Engenharia has more than ten years of experience in advanced geotechnical design and consulting, with over 200 foundation projects for buildings exceeding 100 m in height.
